Phonics :letterland

 

Primary 1–2: We use Letterland to teach phonics in the classroom. By transforming letters into imaginative, character-based pictograms, we teach students through engaging stories, songs, and actions, making letter recognition and phonics intuitive and memorable. A highlight of the P1 curriculum is our "Fashion Show," where students and parents collaborate to design their own Letterland characters and walk on the catwalk; a creative project that fosters both learning and meaningful parent-child bonding.

 

Primary 3–6: For our upper primary students, we implement the UK-based Letters and Sounds programme. This structured approach solidifies core reading and spelling skills, enabling students to tackle more complex texts with ease and build the confidence necessary for long-term academic success.
